Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T Kiyosaki - Book Review

Check it out. Ramit Sethi. I decided to start reviewing some books that I read. If you have books you like, let me know. First off…. This book is like the kid you hated in high school, but he let you cheat off his test a couple of times so you kind of like him.

Your money should work for you—not the other way around. Here are some of his key concepts:. In regards to that last concept, Kiyosaki has a lot to say.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Broke is temporary. Poor is eternal. An asset puts money in your pocket. A liability takes money out of your pocket. Higher incomes cause higher taxes. Once you understand the difference between assets and liabilities, concentrate your efforts on buying income-generating assets.

See a Problem?

Well, it had to happen sometime. This book has been inspirational to many people, but the book seems to have produced as many critics as champions. What about me? I thought it might be insightful to immediately mention the first two times I read the book and my reactions following the reading. The first time I read the book, I felt inspired. I eventually ran into John T. It was shortly after this second reading that I was requested by a reader to write up my thoughts on the author , who has written a large number of similar books.
