Our list includes titles that are published in association with museums and other partners worldwide. We have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Editor to join our dynamic fashion department. The ideal candidate will have solid, hands-on editorial experience, including copy-editing and project managing highly illustrated non-fiction books; a good degree; demonstrable interest in fashion and design; and be confident, enthusiastic, diplomatic and an effective communicator. It is essential that you are able to copy-edit and proofread to a high standard; to manage several complex illustrated books simultaneously through every stage of the production process efficiently, calmly and to budget; and to work collaboratively with in-house colleagues and prestigious external partners. You will have strong InDesign skills and an eye and appreciation for good book design.

They had both fled Nazi Europe and they shared a passion for art and design. With offices in London and New York, their company was named after the main river in each city. Their aim was to produce well-illustrated, well-written books on art, painting, architecture and sculpture. Walter wanted their venture to be a "museum without walls", a way of bringing art to the masses at a price they could afford. Much of their business was social. They formed close relationships with art institutions, artists and intellectuals. Out of these relationships, over dinners and long lunches, came many of their books.

This book shows students and professional designers how to use visual research to develop a personal aesthetic as a fashion designer in a global industry. Fashion design is a process of investigating, researching and constantly questioning what you are doing and why. The first section of this comprehensive guide demonstrates the research process underpinning the work of design icons from Coco Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier to Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. The second section introduces a wide range of themes that often inform fashion design research, including vintage and retro, the use of archives and the influence of art movements such as op art and surrealism. Many visual examples are included and the influences on their work are analysed.

It has been an independent, family-owned company since its founding in Neurath ran an art gallery and published illustrated books with an emphasis on education. Neurath and Foges pioneered the concept of what is today known as book packaging, in which book ideas are conceived, commissioned, produced, and sold to publishers in different markets in their own languages and under their own imprints, called co-editions. By creating co-editions of colour illustrated books with changes made only to the black plate which carries the text, they could order large print-runs and lower the unit production costs for every publisher.
